Put your hands together
Slight bow, still maintain eye contact.
Say "Sawatdee..." and add "Kha" if female
or "Khrap" if male at the end of Sawatdee.

Learn Some Thai Phrases
Thai is a tonal language that has five tones: 1)monotone 2)low 3)falling 4)high, and 5)rising.
This is typically hard for a native English speaker to pickup because there are no tones in the English language.
